Now in its 20th year, the Community Leadership Program (CLP) of the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce provides an opportunity for current and future leaders to gain insight into the issues, opportunities, strengths and challenges within the Iowa City area. CLP offers its participants access to our community leaders, awareness and understanding of critical issues, and an in-depth overview of the systems that govern, serve and develop Johnson County.

The Community Leadership Program consists of nine full day sessions held on the second Friday of each month from September through May. Class members, who are affiliated with Chamber member businesses and organizations, attend sessions that cover a diverse range of community-related topics, including: CLP Spark Logo
